An interesting new take on charity, Kiva.org is a non-profit organisation allowing you to make loans to help impoverished people all around the world. These loans are exactly what they sound like, the amount of money you donate is the amount of money that you will be paid back, plus the warm fuzzy feeling that comes with helping people! XD

Obviously it takes up a bit of your time and your money is tied up for the duration of the loan, but it is a small price really.
